Our Man in Havana

We met on 27 November to talk about Our Man in Havana by Graham Greene. The premise is quite funny, but somehow the novel fails to grip the reader.

We are meeting again 20 December and will be reading Christmas short stories. Carmen conveniently found this webpage, which has a list of 10 short stories, just a click away. So, follow the link and click on the links to the different short stories there.

We have already read three of the stories – A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, A Gift of the Magi by O. Henry and Reginald’s Christmas Revel by Saki. I recommend rereading the one by Saki, it is very short and quite hilarious. As for the other seven – please feel free to read as many as you wish.
